About Karyn

Hi there! I'm Karyn and I'm a UX & Web Designer who loves the process of turning ideas into clear, thoughtful digital experiences. With an Associate's Degree in UX & Web Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Business Administration plus ten years' experience in Human Resources and Office Management, I bring a strong foundation in human behavior, organization strategy, and design thinking to every project I take on. I'm drawn to work that combines strategic thinking with an understanding of user behavior. I focus on both the visual and structural aspects of design to create experiences that are intuitive, meaningful, and effective.

I approach design with intention and clarity. I also enjoy simplifying complex information, mapping user journeys, and ensuring each decision prioritizes user needs while supporting the broader goals of the organization. Through academic and project-based work, I've contributed to website creations and redesigns, branding systems, and responsive website builds. This work has strengthened my skills in research, wireframing, prototyping, accessibility, and front-end development along with refining my design process.

I'm interested in working with organizations of all sizes that are looking to strengthen their digital presence and communicate their mission clearly with authenticity and purpose. My goal is to create intentional, inclusive, and impactful digital experiences that are both user-centered and strategically aligned.
