More About My Story

My Path to UX

Before transitioning into UX, I studied Psychology and Business Administration at Fordham University, and received a Bachelor's degree. Then, I spent about ten years working in Human Resources and Office Management. During those job experiences, I always was drawn to creative work, often taking on projects like designing posters, working on social media posts, and building out thoughtful email communications.

That interest eventually led me to UX, where I could combine creativity with my understanding of human behavior to design meaningful digital experiences. I finally felt like a door had opened to doing the kind of work I had been drawn to all along!

Building My UX Foundation

I'm currently finishing my Associate's degree in UX & Web Design at Wake Technical Community College and have received certificates in UX, web design, web development basics, and front-end development.

I approach design with intention and clarity with a focus on simplifying complex information and creating experiences that feel intuitive to navigate. I enjoy mapping user journeys and making thoughtful decisions that prioritize user needs while supporting broader business goals.

Through academic and project-based work, I've contributed to website designs and redesigns, branding systems, and responsive builds. These experiences have strengthened my skills in research, wireframing, prototyping, accessibility, and front-end development, while continuing to refine my overall design process.

Where I'm Headed

I'm interested in working with organizations of all sizes that are looking to strengthen their digital presence and communicate their mission clearly with authenticity and purpose. My goal is to create intentional, inclusive, and impactful digital experiences that are both user-centered and strategically aligned.

I bring a strong foundation in human behavior, strategy, and design to every project I take on. I’m currently focused on deepening my experience in user research, interaction design, and information architecture to create more thoughtful and effective solutions. I’m especially drawn to work that simplifies complexity and creates clear, intuitive experiences.
